Head of Purchasing
for Markets of Albania, Belgium, and Spain
(partially remote position)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key suppliers at a senior and strategic level
- Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations
- Develop a list of inventories needed and plan a purchasing strategy ·Craft and negotiate contracts on behalf of the company ·
- Create and implement best practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
- Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process
- Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance
- Developing product categories, pricing and positioning strategies
- Optimizing product placement and visibility
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Inventory management and planification

- Product categorization management

Expectations:
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- 10 + years of experience in purchasing include: product and category management, price, retail and distribution
- Stable work history
- Advanced level of English
- Advanced user of MS Office
- Readiness to extensively travel to and work in all countries where the company operates
- Communication and organizational skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
- Adaptability to change
- Willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
